Danfoss Editron is looking for Senior Quality Engineer to join Operational Quality department in Lappeenranta Finland
As a part of a competent and energized team of people, passionate about quality, you will be a voice of customer communication within the organization. As a Sr. Quality Engineer, you will collaborate with various teams to develop and implement quality control procedures, monitor production processes, and identify areas for improvement. You will also conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. As Sr. Quality Engineer you will act as supervisor/ambassador for young Quality Engineers helping them to apply standard quality methods

Job ResponsibilitiesYou will be ensuring product and component quality through close collaboration with suppliers, engineering teams, operations, and customers. Being customer voice at operation level you will responsible for issues communication, strong containment action and reliable and validated corrective cations
The main job obligation will be as follows but not limited:
• Customer claim handling and customer communication
• Supervisor for other plant Quality Engineers in terms of customer claim handling
• Cross function team management in regards to problem solving internal and external
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that products and processes meet quality standards and requirements
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Analyze data and identify areas for improvement in product design, production processes, and quality control procedures
• Work with suppliers to ensure that their products and processes meet our quality standards and requirements
• Coaching the employees on various topics related to internal processes, inspections, and problem-solving
Background & SkillsTo be considered for this role, you should have the following as a minimum
• Bachelor or Masters degree preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Min 3-year experience as Quality engineer
• Proven leadership in projects or in leadership role re preferred
• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and industry standards (ISO 9001, IATF)
• Experience with statistical analysis and process improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Project management experience
• Knowledge of S/D/P-FMEA, Control Plans, Capability Studies, and MSA
• Waiver management
• English communication verbally and in writing
• Finnish communication is prefered
