Purpose of Role: Perform the duties required to implement overall quality planning program that includes the utilization of continuous improvement principles and techniques to assure product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and implement quality improvement initiatives using tools like FMEA, , Six Sigma, SPC, and Poke-Yoke to enhance product and process reliability.Conduct audits and manage non-conformances, including Quality Management System and Special Process audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans (CAPA).Develop and maintain quality documentation, such as procedures, work instructions, calibration records, inspection protocols, and customer reports.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to resolve quality issues, manage specifications, and support continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety standards, fulfilling policy commitments and promoting a culture of safety across all levels.Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in an engineering discipline; advanced knowledge of ISO 9001/14001 standards required.Minimum of five years of relevant Engineering and Quality Assurance experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical data and documentation.Proficient in advanced mathematics and statistical analysis (e.g., Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA).Skilled in using software tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Minitab, and SPC-XL. Experience with SAP is preferred.Excellent communication abilities—capable of presenting technical information clearly to diverse audiences, including management and external stakeholders.Founded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
