Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
QMS: Oversee effective implementation of the Quality Management System throughout the company, including any business accreditations Maintain the Quality Manuals and Quality Procedures and ensure contents are appropriate for business Analyze current and future procedural needs of the business Organize and manage the plant internal audit system and the corrective action reporting system Conduct Quality Systems audits and assist in training/guidance to other auditors Host external Quality System audits Provide training on Quality issues and business processes Coordinate the review of Quality procedures associated with plant continuous improvement initiatives Maintain the Standard Operating Procedure content and coordinate the issuing of these documents Assist with training of quality awareness Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems Calibration: Perform in-house calibration of gauges and measuring instrument for Nilai facility and support AP (Asian Pacific if any) for IMTE within Nilai calibration capability. Arrange IMTE for external lab / vendor calibration, enquire for quotation and raise PR for approval. Create vendor ID for approval if it is a new lab / vendor, ensure the gauges send out to accredited lab IEC/ ISO 17025 to the scope accredited and register to WWQSL. Follow up with Calibration vendor for gauges delivery return after calibration, update in system and manage gauges status. Review all reports of external calibration to ensure that established quality standards and calibration results are met. Scan, filing and upload calibration report (in-house & external) in system and notify users timely of faulty gauges for their disposal action. Manage the Smart QMS Calib system and ensure it is in effective operations. Work with developer supplier to resolve for any system issue encounter. Upon registration of IMTE, set calibration interval and arrange for calibration before release to user. Recall and monitoring calibration due date for gauges and measuring equipment in Calibration System. Ensure all physical gauges and measuring equipment’s which are released from calibration for use, have met established standard, within calibration tolerance result and functional condition. Ensure that all master gauges and instruments are calibrated to required standard. Ensure appropriate environmental control, master equipments are maintain in functional condition and good housekeeping is maintained in the calibration laboratory. Generate overall calibration status report highlight problem, recommend actions for meeting quality objectives and continual improvements (SGIA and cost saving) Perform IMTE production line verification (spot audit) to ensure equipment’s meet requirement and valid calibration. Support to handle the FM, CSA audit and QMS procedures approval registration and release. Perform periodical process compliance audits and in house calibration of pressure gauges of project requirement at production line. Support in TS inspection handling at production line for camera set up, testing & inspection coordination & need of IMTE certificates. To support company policies, goals and objectives. Perform other related duties or special tasks as assigned by superior. Others: Other duties which may be assigned by the manager from time to time. Making continuous improvements support on SGIA, Cost Saving and AI project relate to job process or cross function process.
