Prime Education, a property of Everyday Health Group, is looking for a Senior QI Project Assistant to join the team.The Senior QI Project Assistant is a professional possessing an educational background and experience in research and health care. The successful candidate will holistically manage recruitment with research and strategy on healthcare clinic outreach, tracking, follow up on communication, and set up for clinic informational calls. You will initiate the recruitment and engagement of healthcare systems that range from community based practices to academic medical centers as aligned with the company’s grants and contracts. The Senior QI Project Assistant is accountable to support, maintain and enhance the reputation of PRIME® and foster continued collaborations with healthcare systems, community based practices, and health care providers.
The Senior QI Project Assistant performs an essential role in health care clinic recruitment strategies that allows the company to enroll healthcare providers to identify barriers, gaps, and trends in care. The successful candidate possesses the ability to understand research methodologies and support strategic recruitment for such projects. The successful candidate collaborates effectively with the professional research team and is integral to the clinic onboarding process for QI education projects. The successful candidate focuses on strategies that can implement and improve access to healthcare teams and data to support quality based initiatives.
Position Duties:Independently manage assigned research and recruitment for education projects from the program launchInitiate a plan to manage recruitment each assigned research and education project, and present the strategy and timeline to the Senior Manager of Population Health and Research for approvalIdentify and recruit cohort participants and systems that align with the “intended study participants” identified in QI education and research projectsIndependently identify new recruitment strategies and adjust strategic objectives as needed to overcome barriers to quality improvement research participation goalsSeek opportunities to build relationships with new systems and integrated delivery networks to initiate opportunities for new research and QI projects, or to fulfill current projects research goalsParticipate in the planning of recruitment strategies for research-based and quality improvement educational projectsAssist in the planning and execution of research designs, protocols, data analysis, and outcomes reportingCommunicate with external research staff, cohort participants, and other stakeholders as needed to define project deliverablesPlan, develop, and coordinate project information calls with potential research participantsOther duties as assignedCandidate Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or biomedical degreeGood written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsGeneral Understanding of healthcare quality improvement measuresFamiliarity with measurement tools and data sources such as patient charts, EMRs, Registries and others requiredKnowledge about Microsoft Products
