Job Overview:

The Senior QHSES Assurance Specialist uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the QHSES Assurance discipline within McDermott. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the QHSES Assurance discipline. They solve complex problems and use discipline-specific knowledge to improve their products or services. The Senior QHSES Assurance Specialist impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the QHSES Assurance team and other related teams and ensures that they work within the appropriate guidelines and policies.

Project specific Roles and Responsibilities 

Procurement Quality Engineer responsible for implementation of MDR and Client Quality requirements during Procurement phase of the project  

Contribute to establishing procurement quality specifications  Participate in Inter Discipline Check of deliverables as relevant   Ensure implementation of project specific quality requirements during procurement.  Review Material Requisitions, Request for Quotations, Technical Bid Evaluations, Quality documentation, ITPs, and purchase requisitions.  Review VENDOR inspection assignment packages.  Conduct Pre-Inspection Meetings and participate in VENDOR Audits.  Coordinate with VENDOR Inspection Coordinator for arranging and assigning inspectors.  Review and approve outsourced inspectors.   Coordinate with inspectors to ensure implementation of interventions as per approved ITP and on quality requirements.   Review inspection reports and liaise with VENDOR Inspection Coordinator.   Monitor Procurement Inspection status.  Review and endorse NCR’s, corrective actions, and close-out Observations.  Contribute to monitoring of quality KPIs.   Provide feedback to VENDOR Inspection Coordinator on inspector’s performance. Contribute in implementation of TPCI Coordination plan
