What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior QA Test Automation Engineer with experience in Java, Selenium and Cucumber, working close to one of our main clients in banking sector. 

 

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using latest scripting techniques Report quality issues & defects and manage repository of automated regression tests Initiating Test Automation activities considering already set up group structure Analyse, test and evaluate user requirements, specifications and models with regard to testability Set up the test environment & automate test set’s Configure, update, maintain and deploy the test tools Carry out and document tests in accordance with the specified test cases or in an exploratory manner Preparation and execution of training sessions Propose and perform PoC’s to continually expand the test framework

What UST expects from you?

At least 5 years experience in TDD and automated testing. Experience with Selenium, Cucumber and Gherkin Knowledge of Xray and Jira and their integration into an automated testing framework Deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline and its automation technologies like Jenkins, GitHub, etc.  Strong java development skills Experience in manual testing Experience in the baking domain is essential Experience working an both agile and classical delivery models Higher Education in Computer Science (University, University of Applied Sciences, or equivalent diploma) ISTQB foundation is essential Selenium certification  Spanish is a big plus  Customer oriented with focus to support an organization in developing and providing solutions Very good understanding of software lifecycle and its operational management  Willingness to bring in new ideas and initiate changes Good english level (C1) you will be working with international teams.

Nice to hace:

Experience in either T24 or Triple A is considered an advantage Experience of selenium grid would be considered an asset

Work Location

Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.

 

Work schedule

Business Hours. No intensive working days for friday or summer.
