Senior QA Engineer - (Cortex Cloud)

As our QA engineer, you will play a role of setting up XSOAR’s system and regressions tests suites, enhancing them with every release and executing them for different releases. In this role, you will work closely with the developers, product managers, other QA engineers, and also be in charge of maintaining appropriate test labs for smooth test execution. You need to have a passion for improving the overall quality of the product you test. All this in a fast pace process of development, test, and release. Cortex XSOAR is a Security Orchestration, Automation and Response family of products that were formerly developed by Demisto (acquired in 2019). XSOAR is a comprehensive Security Operations Platform that combines full case management, intelligent automation, and collaborative investigation. Our teams focus on innovating the most advanced SOAR platform, on adding more integrations to 3rd party products, covering more use cases and more automations as well as expanding the threat intelligence capabilities of XSOAR. More information about XSOAR can be found here (https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/cortex/cortex-xsoar) **Your Impact** + You will test our cloud service, which includes: + Execute manual system tests including functional and e2e on sanity, regression, pre-production and post-production phases in a tight release schedule + Participate in the maintenance and growth of Regression tests suites owning many of them + Participate in setting up and maintaining a System tests lab with all available and required integrations + Work closely with other QA engineers to re-evaluate tests, transforming them from progression tests to regression tests + Design and execute tests for new features or major redesign of existing features + Learn about security solutions and technologies + Integration with GCP Cloud Computing + Integration with other Palo Alto Networks cloud services + Debug failures in complex environments **Your Experience** + 5+ years of software testing experience cross platform - Win, Linux and Mac + Experience writing testing documents (STDs/ATPs) and knowledge of various testing methodologies + Experience with both frontend and backend testing of cloud-base services + Knowledge of GCP cloud computing, kubernetes , MySQL, and REST API + Self-learner and ability to learn new technologies and methodologies in a relatively short time + Academic degree(s) in Computer Science or equivalent or equivalent military experience required – an advantage + Knowledge of scripting and a programming language - an advantage + Experience with AI testing - an advantage + Experience working with SIEM products - an advantage + Security background in general and security programs knowledge in particular – an advantage + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Hebrew and English + Candidate should also possess the ability to work under pressure with extreme deadlines, prioritize projects, and maintain focus and a sense of humor **The Team** [Input by recruiter and audited by recruiting specialist] **Our Commitment** We’re problem solvers that take risks and challenge cybersecurity’s status quo.
