We have been ranked #1 for Market Impact by Everest Group for four times in a row and ranked #1 for completeness of vision, test advisory and Digital Business Assurance in Gartner Magic Quadrant! **Senior QA Automation Engineer** **Locations: Boston, MA** **Required Qualifications:** • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. • 5 -7 years manual data testing Selenium and web applications. • Agile and Scrum, lead/manage teams from software quality. • Managed and maintained QC tool installation and administration work. • Possess strong experience in manual data testing and Selenium. • Demonstrate proficiency in web application testing and test metrics reporting. • Have expertise in using SNOW RALLY HP ALM and Jira for testing activities. • Show capability in manual end-to-end business process assurance. • Exhibit basic programming skills to support testing automation. • Experience in the provider domain is a plus. • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency. • Adaptable to changing project requirements and priorities. • Committed to continuous learning and professional development. • Proactive in identifying and resolving testing challenges. • Dedicated to contributing to the company’s success and societal impact **Roles/Responsibilities:** • The ideal candidate will have expertise in manual data testing, Selenium and web applications along with proficiency in test metrics and reporting. • This role requires strong experience with testing tools • Lead the testing efforts for various projects ensuring high-quality deliverables. • Oversee manual data testing processes to validate data integrity and accuracy. • Utilize Selenium for automated testing of web applications to enhance efficiency. • Develop and maintain test metrics and report to track project progress and quality. • Implement and manage testing tools and frameworks to streamline testing activities. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. • Conduct manual end-to-end business process assurance to validate system functionality. • Manage defect tracking and resolution using SNOW RALLY HP ALM and Jira. • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve testing issues. • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements based on testing outcomes. • Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices across projects. • Support the team in achieving project milestones and deliverables on time. • Contribute to the company’s mission by ensuring the delivery of reliable and efficient software solutions. **Work Authorization:** Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.) S **alary and Other Compensation:** The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 - $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
