Senior Prototype Leader

Prepare inputs for budget forecast together with Cost Containment Manager, PJM, SPM, Finance, and the Manager

Regularly monitor material budget updates to meet financial goals for material and prototype expenses

Create and manage yearly capitalization of BIF (in-house and outsourced) in line with process investment optimization approach

Manage processes in accordance with company standards (BOMs tool tracker, standard planning/forecasting, KPIs, etc.)

Communicate project information to suppliers including timelines, deliverables, and lifetime expectations

Ensure communication alignment between various stakeholders including the customer organization

Participate in the upstream phase of new products and processes (RFQ phase)

Identify opportunities for increased effectiveness and efficiency

Demonstrate personal development of the team

Develop skills in others/suppliers by showing excellent attitude toward internal/external customers/suppliers

Perform assigned tasks in compliance with the quality system valid for Aptiv organization standards, Technical Center in Krakow

Requirements:

Solid professional experience on project coordination related role

Purchasing experience is an asset

Excellent organization and communication skills

Mobility and readiness to travel within EMEA region and global

Fluent command of English

Bachelor’s Degree from commercial or technical university

Ability to work in an international and fast-paced environment

Very good negotiation skills

Good knowledge of project finances

Knowledge of MS Office

Ability to lead and coordinate the work of team members
