Do you have at least 3 years of experience in working in protection programmes with displaced or refugee populations and other vulnerable communities in Lebanon?
Do you have experience in community mobilisation, as well as in working with partners and with local authorities ?
Do you have knowledge of and commitment to feminist principles, the rights-based approach, the principles of do no harm, conflict sensitivity, protection mainstreaming and ICRC standards and ethics for protection work ?

The Role:
The Senior Protection Officer works within Oxfam’s humanitarian pillar, and is based in Zahle. The purpose of the role is to manage and provide technical support to the project team in the implementation of the protection humanitarian projects in the Bekaa and Baalback el Hermel. The role will combine management of Oxfam staff and coordination with partners , in the implementation of gender-sensitive community-based protection activities, including monitoring and evaluation of programme activities, as well as support to protection research and advocacy activities on protection issues
