The Opportunity:

Do you have the drive, skills and ability to work with us as part of our team? Kent is offering a Perth-based role for a Telecommunications Technician to step into brownfield project delivery, combining hands-on implementation with high-level design and coordination. Ideal for those with at least 5 years’ experience in maintenance and installation of complex communications systems, this role provides exposure to project work, occasional site travel, and potential offshore opportunities for HUET/TBOSIET holders. You’ll be supported by a respected team and enjoy ongoing training and development, contributing to the reliability of critical communications infrastructure.

In this role, some of the following duties you will undertake but not limited to:

Working as part of team to deliver brownfield projects, interpreting customer requirements and implement changes requestsPerform preventative, corrective and break/fix maintenance activities across the operational sitesFactory Acceptance Testing, installation, and system commissioningDesign and project coordination for system upgrades, modifications, and new system installationsProvide backfill for site-based maintenance personnelReading, interpreting, and maintaining integrity of drawings and documentsAssist with the development, approval and implementation of Work packs, JHA’s and Work PermitsAssist in maintaining the Specialty Telecoms SystemsComply with all health, safety and environmental laws, regulations and statutory obligations at all timesComply with all Kent and Client environmental & HSE procedures and policies
