Senior Project Pursuit
The role is responsible for meeting sales targets and delivering outstanding customer service. This includes securing and renewing orders, negotiating pricing, closing sales deals, and ensuring timely product deliveries. The primary focus of this position is to achieve sales goals while placing a high priority on customer happiness and maintaining strong sales and service skills. By optimally managing the sales process and encouraging positive customer relationships, the successful candidate will contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.     In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Responsible for KOB 1 & 2 Trade Orders Budget in Malaysia.  Responsible for business development, identify project leads and collaborate with Business Units in project pursuit in Malaysia.  Responsible to cover Engineering & Consultancy Companies, EPCs, Operators and End-Users’ for early engagement in pre-FEED and FEED to project FID.  Responsible in generating project leads, develop & build project funnels for near term and mid-term projects, develop specific project pursuit plan for each targeted projects, identify and build rapport with the key technical and commercial sponsors/decision makers, provide regular sharing of project updates with Business Units for onward pursuit of respective packages.  Collaborating with Automation Solution Business Units and Asia Pacific Team to achieve objectives for Trade Orders Budget, GP3 projects, targeted projects, accounts, and industry diversification.  Responsible for management reporting on project pursuit status, forecasting, pursuit positioning strategy and win analysis. Able to respond to clients’ technical requirements and convey clients’ technical requirements to respective Business Units, Sales leaders and Sales support team for onward actions.  To perform any other tasks assigned at the discretion of the company to drive new initiatives/programs.

  For This Role, You Will Need: Minimum 8-10 years proven experience in Automation Business in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical Industries. Degree/Masters in E&E/Instrumentation/Chemical Engineering or other relevant technical field, or equivalent experience. Self-motivated individual with strong business understanding, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.  Good interpersonal skills, comfortable in interacting in formal, informal & site environment. Must be able to establish and maintain positive relationships throughout the sales cycle.  Willing to travel within Malaysia and light travels to regional countries. Other than primary responsibilities as Project Pursuit & Business Development Manager, this position also expected to perform task to meet the overall team Objective.
  Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Knowledgeable in Process Automation System, field measurement instrumentation, digitalization solutions. Good understanding in business practice and commercial processes will be advantageous.
