Senior Project Manager / Project Executive

If so, lets talk. **Your role and responsibilities** We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project executive that will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, execution, and success of projects within an account. The role must ensure that projects align with organizational goals, are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The role involves leadership, stakeholder management, and accountability for the project’s outcomes. Their role also involves strategic planning, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and quality standards. Ultimately, the candidate should ensure customer satisfaction while driving operational efficiency and project success. Key Responsibilities of the DPE: Service Delivery Oversight * Strong PM experience and PM practices. * Owns end-to-end delivery of IT services or projects according to contractual commitments. * Ensures high-quality, on-time, and within-budget delivery. * Manages the delivery team, often across multiple locations and service lines. Client Relationship Management * Acts as the primary interface between IBM and the Client. * Builds trusted relationships with key client stakeholders (CIOs, business leaders, etc.). * Manages client expectations and handles escalations. Financial and Contract Management * Owns the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the account or project. * Ensures delivery within budget, monitors costs, and manages financial risks. * Oversees contract compliance and identifies opportunities for renewals or growth. Risk and Issue Management * Identifies, assesses, and mitigates delivery risks. * Ensures contingency plans are in place and issues are resolved quickly. Team Leadership * Leads delivery managers, technical teams, and subcontractors. * Ensures teams are aligned, motivated, and working toward common objectives. Business Development * Opportunity Identification * Contract Negotiations & Renewals * Account Planning Continuous Improvement * Implements best practices and drives process improvements. * Tracks and reports KPIs, SLAs, and other performance metrics. * Supports innovation and transformation aligned with the client’s strategic goals. **Required technical and professional expertise** * 10+ years of experience in project & account management, with at least 2+ years in a senior role * Proven experience in project/program management, preferably in IT, consulting, or managed services environments * Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills * Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and risk management * Ability to handle multivendor project environments * Excellent verbal and written communication skills **Preferred technical and professional experience** * PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications. * Strong understanding of project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Asana, etc.) IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
