AIG’s Information Technology functions include enterprise architecture, software and systems engineering, cybersecurity, and technology risk and compliance.

How you will create impact

The successful candidate will be a key member of our IT Infrastructure PMO organization, this critical role will support the delivery of complex strategic and operational initiatives across the IT Infrastructure group.  Working in close partnership with senior leaders and functional teams, the candidate will manage end-to-end project delivery, provide governance oversight, and contribute to the continued development of PMO and Business Management best practices. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to navigate a complex, fast-paced environment, with a sharp attention to detail and a focus on maintaining high standards of project/program management.

What you need to knowServe as a key delivery lead for the IT Infrastructure PMO organization, working closely with Business, Technology Risk and Audit, Operations, and stakeholders.Lead the planning, execution and delivery of cross-functional IT Infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines and budgets.Proactively facilitate clear and consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels, gathering and providing regular updates on project status, risks and achievements.Facilitate project working groups, steering committees, and senior stakeholder updates.Ensure robust risk and issue management with timely resolution and mitigation planning.Drive project governance, including project tracking, reporting and escalation management.Help embed and maintain consistent project management standards, templates and controls in line with the PMO framework.Mentor junior project managers or analysts as part of team development initiatives.Support and champion broader PMO portfolio reporting, prioritization and capacity management processesFoster a strong team culture in-office, supporting collaboration and knowledge sharing across the PMO community.

What you'll need to succeed:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.PMP, Scrum Master, Agile PM certifications strongly preferredAt least 8 years of project or program management experience, including 3+ years in a senior project delivery role within a global financial services company.Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, specifically Cloud, networking, and Digital Workplace technologiesProven track record leading cross functional teams and engaging senior stakeholders in large corporate environmentsExperience managing multiple initiatives across several geographies concurrently in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in project Management tools such as PPM, MS Project, Powerpoint, JIRAStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership confidentlyStrong financial acumen with experience managing large budgets and vendor contractsProficiency in project management tools such as MS Project and PPM.
