Job Title: Senior Project Manager

In your new role as the Senior Project Manager within the Minerals Digital team, you will lead the end-to-end execution of customer-facing projects, with a strong focus on the design, installation, and commissioning of digital solutions across the global mining sector.

To succeed in this role, you will be a detail-oriented, self-motivated team player with strong stakeholder management capabilities. You will bring proven experience in delivering projects to external customers using a blend of waterfall and agile methodologies. Your ability to communicate with clarity and confidence, paired with persuasive leadership, will enable you to guide and align multi-disciplinary project teams toward successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: End-to-end project management of external customer facing project from scoping to SAT and handover, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specifications using a mix of waterfall and agile methodologies.Leadership: Goal-oriented with a pragmatic approach and the ability to manage key external stakeholders, and internal teams to effectively deliver project goals and deliverables on-time.Communication Skills: Excellent persuasive and stakeholder management skills to ensure expectations are aligned and projects are delivered according to the contract and project timeline.Customer Engagement: Driving continuous customer engagement to realize the value of Weir digital solutions, supporting the sales enablement team to ensure project requirements are agreed, (trial agreements, legal, data agreements etc.) and signed-off prior to project initiation.Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Project Management: Experience in managing external customer facing projects from project initiation, to delivery and installation of hardware at customer sites, to commissioning and handover. The ability to identify and address issues and blockers that may impact project budget, cost, or timeline. Relevant project management certifications (PMP/Prince etc.) is desired.Leadership: Self-starter with high degree of persuasiveness who has proven experience in leading diverse groups during scoping, commissioning and implementation of technical projects. Is able to demonstrate flexibility to manage multiple demands/project simultaneously.Communication Skills: Excellent business communication skills, with the ability to compile project reports and effectively present them to senior stakeholders. Demonstrates the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business, or equivalent project management experience, with a background in mining industry or related industrial fields desirable, a proficiency in Spanish as a second or primary language is a plus
