The Sr. Diagnostics Project Manager will take on the responsibility of managing the technical production and contractual aspects of multiple projects within the office with focus on restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, and forensics related work. This candidate will also assist in business development and growth of the Diagnostics Group. The candidate should have experience and interest building restoration, parking rehabilitation, renovation, building enclosure issues in addition to forensic engineering work. 

 

The qualified candidate should also possess a high energy level and be a self-motivated project manager who can work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity and assertiveness when meeting client and project needs, are required.

 

Job Duties:

Preparation of proposals and assist with responses for RFQs and RFPsDevelop project tasks for others to execute to include review and organizing project-related documentsResearch building codes and industry standardsWrite and lead in the preparation of assessment reportsLead the execution of field investigations, including non-destructive testing, travel requiredPrepare repair/design options, repair drawings details and construction specification documentsObserve construction and installation of repairs/designs in the field, including quality assurance testing, review site visit reports and meeting minutesInteract with project clients, sub-consultants, and repair contractors

 

Skills:

Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT)Computer Aided Drafting/Design (SAP2000, ETABS, RAM) Expertise with building structural systemsExperience with working on suspended scaffolding and vertical heights

 

Qualifications

 

Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with focus in Structures preferred9+ years of relevant experience with proven growthE. or S.E. license is requiredAbility to secure new clients and generate new businessStrong technical, written and verbal communicationAbility to multi-task and meet tight deadlinesStrong customer service focus

As a Hybrid Firm, Walter P Moore combines the best of both worlds – blending work options to include in-office and home office environments. This allows us to offer more flexibility and work-life integration to our employees. Candidates applying for this position should have the ability to commute to or periodically travel to the affiliated office.

To ensure the ability to setup a suitable home office space, Walter P Moore offers a one-time $1,000 stipend that would be paid upon completion of the first week of employment. An additional $50 monthly stipend will also be provided to cover ongoing home office expenses.

 

Pay Transparency Disclosure Statement:
This position has an annual salary range as stated below and is, in good faith, an estimate. The actual offered salary will be dependent on the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, geographic location, industry experience and internal equity. Walter P Moore reserves the right to offer more or less than the posted range based on the criteria previously stated and will do so in a manner that does not discriminate against a candidate's protected status per local, state and federal law.
