Project Manager – JLLWhat this job involves:As a Project Manager at JLL, you will be directly responsible for leading and delivering challenging projects, with your priorities lying in leveraging your network and focusing on clients' priorities while managing complex commercial and critical systems capital projects in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions for a large financial institution with Headquarters in NYC. You will provide subject matter expertise on and management of multiple MEP infrastructure projects across a portfolio of buildings with budgets ranging from $75K to $10M+. Being forward thinking and consistently demonstrating initiative to adopt new technologies and develop efficient processes is key to the impact you will have in this role. Your strong knowledge of construction projects from start to finish will speak to your ability to push the business forward through innovative and industry changing ideas while providing effective project management to help reduce costs and add value to the business.
What your day-to-day will look like:Provide subject matter expertise on and management of multiple MEP infrastructure projects across a portfolio of buildings in the East regionDevelop the overall vision, direction, and management of project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectivesManage and provide oversight, coordination and resolve complex project related issuesAct as the primary contact with the client throughout the duration of the projectGuide the client and team through the design implementation process including conceptual, schematic, design development and construction documentationDevelop and execute project specific and client driven goals, schedules, budgets, strategy, and detailed assumptionsDevelop and maintain Master Project Schedules and manage successful execution of multiple projects within intended timeframesSupport preparation of various RFPs for vendor and contractor services and manage the selection processFacilitate initiation of all critical project meetings and coordination exercises with internal staff and key stakeholdersRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution7-10 years as a Project Manager or similar roleStrong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, mechanical, piping, including design, construction, and how these systems workExperience in Design and Management of MEP engineering and knowledge of the design process from proposal through construction phasesStrong working knowledge of architectural and MEP drawings, pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, and project delivery methodsStrong Scheduling, Project Accounting & Budgetary CapabilityHighly organized with strong analytical skills and ability to creatively solve problemsStrong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with executive level external and internal clientsExtensive knowledge of MS Office applications and MS ProjectPreferred Qualifications:Degree preference towards Engineering and/or Construction ManagementProject management certifications (PMP, etc.)Experience with financial services clients and understanding of their unique requirementsKnowledge of building systems/components and technology, team building, and client relationship buildingSolutions Oriented Mindset, Pro-Active Approach, Strong Sense of Self Accountability & DriveAbility to think outside the box and lead teams in driving innovative procurement strategies and construction techniquesExperience managing all types/sizes of projects effectively and efficientlyKnowledge of submittal processes, change orders, and contract managementLocation:Onsite
Estimated total compensation for this position:
145,000.00 – 175,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
