Mentor and support the professional development of team members. + Act as the Contractor’s primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including senior management and other departments. + Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and expectations. + Track and report on contract financials, including expenses and resource allocation. + Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards. + Maintain comprehensive contract documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes. + Serves as Deputy Operations Director providing leadership and strategic direction for the program. + Also includes project coordinator and project manager responsibilities + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field (e.g., science, public health, business or project management), a master’s degree is preferred + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. + Minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience in portfolio, program, and project management support. If a degree is not in a science-related field, at least 5 years of that experience must be in a biomedical, pharmaceutical, biotech, academic medical center, or health-related organization. + Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in serving as a team lead / project lead position. + Operational program/project management experience for a federal agency strongly preferred. + Experience with OTA (Other Transaction Authority) preferred _Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_ + Must understand project management principles and techniques and have project management work experience in a biomedical, pharmaceutical, biotech, academic medical center, or health-related organization + Must also have experience developing project management processes, tools, and templates to strengthen an organization’s project management approach + Excellent verbal and written communication (coordinate projects across a wide range of stakeholders.) + Leadership (Must exhibit the organization and management skills required to lead a team of project managers and project coordinators involved in many diverse programs and projects of varying size and complexity.
