Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Manager to join our team! The Senior Project Manager will lead and oversee the planning, design, and implementation of a comprehensive master plan for the project. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in project management. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and consultants to ensure the successful delivery of a sustainable, innovative, and economically viable master plan.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead the development and execution of the master plan for the project, ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision, goals, and objectives.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and financial viability.
Work with financial analysts to develop investment strategies and funding models for the project.
Prepare detailed project reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, challenges, and milestones.
Oversee all phases of the master planning process, including feasibility studies, conceptual design, detailed planning, and implementation strategies.
Manage multidisciplinary teams, including architects, urban planners, environmental consultants, and financial analysts.
Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful delivery.
Collaborate with government agencies, private sector partners, local communities, and other stakeholders to gather input and ensure alignment with regulatory and cultural considerations.
Facilitate workshops, presentations, and meetings to communicate project progress and address stakeholder concerns.
Integrate sustainable practices and innovative solutions into the master plan to enhance environmental, social, and economic outcomes.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote eco-friendly initiatives.
Ensure the master plan meets high standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to ensure project deliverables align with objectives.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Urban/Regional Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines.
Minimum 20 years of relevant experience working on large-scale Industrial and Community developments. This experience should be preferably with a consulting company dealing with Urban Planning and Development work. International experience, particularly in the Middle East preferred.
Proven track record of managing large-scale, multidisciplinary projects from inception to completion.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
