Senior Project Manager
Job Description The architectural and engineering senior project manager will be tasked with managing an internal team of architecture project managers and external consultants, collectively responsible for all project specific architectural and engineering design, drawings, documentation, and specifications (including architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, and environmental). This includes driving strategic initiatives, tracking projects to quickly resolve issues, track and interpret vendor partners Key Performance Indicators, participate in Quarterly Business Reviews and maintain vendor diversity through RFI/RFPs. This individual will need a strong understanding of design aesthetic in order to drive decisions with our vendors as well as work closely with the team to develop and maintain the CVS standards. This position requires extensive cross-functional coordination, strong communication skills and serves as the design resource for the business, establishing their design standards and guiding the business through the design process. Candidates must have demonstrated success in defining and driving complex new programs, proven organizational abilities and proven people management skills across virtual organizations. The successful candidate will have the ability to deal with ambiguity and show great attention to detail. Skills and Requirements 1. 7-10 yrs Experience in Design, Architecture, Engineering, and associated processes. 2. A strong experience in a variety of construction types and a good understanding of construction documents, specifications, materials, and processes are required 3. Experience in reading and preparing Architectural & Engineering technical drawings and documentation of project design and construction document phases 4. Excellent oral and written communication skills, design, and problem-solving skills as well as appreciation and sensitivity to architectural design intent and constructability. 5. Experience leading teams and external consultants. 6. Possess strong presentation skills with the ability to influence others, comfortable presenting at City Design Review boards, Planning commissions to represent CVS Health and the brand. 7. Have a positive attitude with proven proficiency working collaboratively within a team setting 8. Have a strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently and with accuracy while taking responsibility for own work and the work of their team. 9. Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. 10. Experience in systems and software including AutoCAD and BIM (Revit), Excel, Word, Adobe, Bluebeam, Photoshop and PowerPoint 11. Willing to travel 25% 1. Bachelor, or Technical Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Interior Design required or equivalent work experience 1. Professional License to Practice Architecture is preferred but not required 2.
