WSP in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead the delivery of an ongoing major project in Riyadh.
+ Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to senior managers to ensure that quality technical services are delivered, meeting both project and client requirements.
+ Responsible for planning & governance and for overseeing the successful delivery of the assigned project’s output in alignment with Client requirements.

+ Lead a team responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring contractors adhere to drawings, specifications, standards, and schedules, while also ensuring compliance with ES&H plans, quality standards, and local/national safety regulations.
+ Monitor the performance of installation contractors, manage project progress, schedules, cost control, and change management systems.
+ Lead and coordinate with contractors, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders involved in foundation work and superstructure installation.
+ Provide leadership to ensure continuous availability of construction work fronts by reviewing look-ahead schedules, commodity charts, resource plans, engineering deliverables, material delivery schedules, and contractor submittals.
+ Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained before work commences on-site and verify compliance with all permit and license requirements.
+ Manage a cross-functional team responsible for reviewing and approving contractor submittals, schedule acceptance, technical queries, field change documents, and other documentation, including drawings and As-Builts.
+ Ensure that all materials and equipment on-site comply with international standards and technical specifications.
+ Oversee the systematic and thorough closure of the project in all aspects.
+ Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other functional departments, ensuring coordination of all contractual activities at the job site.
+ Manage interfaces with other contractors and lead review meetings to ensure smooth coordination and progress.
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
+ 15 years + of experience in project management within construction projects.
+ Experience in the GCC region (preferably KSA), either in a Construction Management role or with direct construction experience.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive working relationship among all parties, including clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, throughout the project lifecycle.
+ A self-driven individual capable of working independently, making professional judgments, and taking ownership of projects while providing effective technical leadership to contractors and field engineers.
