About the role:

 

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project management, particularly within the software development industry, and will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects efficiently and effectively.

 

A day in this role:

 

Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing. Team Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all project requirements are understood and met. Facilitate effective collaboration among team members, ensuring clear communication of goals, timelines, and responsibilities. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery. Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints. Track and report on project costs and make recommendations for budget adjustments as needed. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment with project goals. Prepare and deliver presentations and status reports to stakeholders. Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and are delivered on time. Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk logs. Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.

 

The expertise requested:

 

Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the software development industry. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello). Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.

Desired or nice to have expertise:

 

Experience with Agile project management and familiarity with Scrum and Kanban methodologies. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Knowledge of software development processes and lifecycle.
