A Senior Project Manager at Emerson is responsible for leading and managing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing resources, and ensuring that project goals align with the company's strategic objectives.
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timelines. Lead project teams to implement plans and achieve project milestones. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion. Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project needs are met. Coordinate with different departments to secure necessary resources and support. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the point of contact for project partners. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to partners in a timely manner. Facilitate meetings and presentations to keep partners informed and engaged. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle. Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards. FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of Project Management experience, or 10+ years of Project Management experience in lieu of a degree Demonstrated ability in Project Management concepts including scheduling, planning, risk mitigation, etc. Ability to travel up to 10% for onsite customer meetings 2+ years of Flow Controls – Fisher Experience Legal authorization to work in the United StatesPreferred:
Power Industry experience preferred
