Senior Project Manager
Job Description: Sr. Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Project Manager who will play a crucial role in managing and executing large-scale projects within the food and beverage industry. This position requires a hands-on contributor who will actively engage with customers and subcontractors to ensure project success.

ResponsibilitiesReview project proposals or plans to determine scope, including timeframe, budget, procedures, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.Establish work plans and staffing for each project phase, coordinating project personnel.Effectively communicate project expectations to team members, outline work plans, and delegate tasks accordingly.Direct, coordinate, and manage project personnel activities to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.Review status reports prepared by project personnel and adjust schedules or plans as necessary.Act as a liaison with clients, maintaining regular and effective communication throughout the project.Develop and prepare project reports for management and clients.Provide technical advice and resolve problems with project personnel.Maintain professional relationships with clients.Collaborate with internal resources to maximize project team efficiency.Support internal sales and marketing efforts.Build and develop business relationships vital to project success.Conduct project postmortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.Develop best practices and tools for future project execution and management.Ensure all required project information is filed in a timely manner.Manage or supervise field personnel for work performed at customers' plants.Essential SkillsProject management experience with large capital projects ranging from $50-500 million.PMP certification.8+ years of experience in project management.Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.Knowledge of industry, market, and USDA & FDA guidelines.Proficiency in Internet Software and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook.Strong problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Basic experience and knowledge in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.Proven results and high level of business acumen.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the food and beverage industry, including USDA or FDA regulated knowledge.Experience in yogurt manufacturing or fluid flow (soda, dairy, etc.).Good teamwork skills: listening, approachable, questioning, helpful, participating.Strong interpersonal skills: professional, respectful, positive, outgoing, enthusiastic.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $76.92/hr.
