Senior Project Manager

About your role:

You will play a client-facing role, responsible for managing and delivering core banking transformation project for Finxact.

What you’ll do:

Lead the implementation of core banking and payment system initiatives, including real-time payments, card processing, and SWIFT transactionsDevelop detailed project plans, define scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverablesWork cross-functionally with business stakeholders, IT, compliance, and third-party vendorsMonitor project progress, resolve roadblocks, and ensure on-time delivery within scope and budgetAct as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and external payment vendorsEngage with regulators and auditors to ensure compliance with financial industry standardsIdentify and mitigate project risks related to fraud prevention, cybersecurity, regulatory requirementsPrepare and present status reports, KPIs, and post-implementation reviews for senior management

Experience you'll need to have:

6+ years of experience in project management experience in banking, payments, or financial services6+ years of experience in stakeholder management, risk management/issue resolution, scope and budget management4+ years of experience leading and directing project teams1+ years of experience with payment gateways, digital wallets, and card networksProficient in project management tools like MS Office Suite, JIRA, and Trello.Strong knowledge of core payment systems like ACH, RTP, SWIFT, SEPA, FedNow, Wire TransfersFamiliarity with financial regulations like PSD2, PCI-DSS, AML, ISO 20022, NACHABachelor’s degree in business, finance, IT, or a related field from an accredited college or university and/or equivalent military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

Implementation of banking transformation projects (core banking migration, digital payments, open banking, etc.)Knowledge of FinTech integrations, API-based banking, or blockchain paymentsHands-on experience in banking software (Temenos, FIS, Fiserv, ACI, etc.)
