Downer Energy and Utilities is seeking a new Senior Project Manager to join our team. This role will be on an 8/6 roster commencing after the 14th July. 

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex major projects from initiation through to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 15 years’ experience in project management of large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or mining projects, with a strong commercial and contractual background.

This role requires strategic oversight of all project phases, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives, effective contract administration, and the coordination of cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements

What we are looking for 

Engineering Qualification Minimum 15 years' experience in project management of major capital or infrastructure projectsStrong commercial and contractual acumen with proven experience in contract negotiation, administration, and claims managementDemonstrated experience in planning, cost control, procurement, and resource managementTertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related disciplinePMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification (preferred)Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
