Senior Project Manager

Be responsible for delivering business document related expertise and capabilities which are expected to be reused across Chubb. Those capabilities include: the creation, storage for digital and electronic (email and SMS) paper distribution of documents. These documents are used to support all aspects of Property and Casualty Commercial and Personal lines Insurance business including but not limited to (quotes, binders, policy forms, endorsements, contracts, certificates, customer correspondence, invoices, bills, producer statements, and checks).

We are looking for an experienced Technology Leader, responsible for overall technology planning and delivery of the project(s), architectural design, end to end testing and deployment of features for the Platform.  The Technology Leader will facilitate requirements analyses, conduct peer reviews, and provide feedback.  They will also work with various business units to assist with transformation of legacy or emerging CCM capabilities into the strategic platform. 

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate sound knowledge of industry best practices in enterprise delivery, Scaled agile delivery practices and tools.  Also requires good organizational and leadership skills, full stack development experience and architect level proficiency in CCM capabilities. Multi-year program expected to migrate from OpenText xPression to a new CCM global Platform such as OpenText Extreme, Smart Communications or Quadient Inspire.  This role will report to the VP, Global Customer Communications Platform Technology Leader, currently residing in North America.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for architectural design, development, testing and deployment of CCM product solutions in a fast-paced agile environment.  Problem solver and an expert at troubleshooting and implementing creative solutions to deliver on application objectives. Work with the business product owners, enterprise architects and other product team members to document and groom product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in an agile development environment.  Manage migration and production support teams while building the solution to Global Platform standards. To analyze and understand complex problems and generate appropriate technical solutions independently. Review code, design, and provide guidance to developers.  Rich experience in applying design patterns and in designing application that is resilient and scalable. Provide recommendations to Global Platform Owner, including budget planning. Mentor junior team members.


 

 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, equivalent degree or equivalent work experience required.Good understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, integration, and other web services used in the solution.Highly skilled at collaborating with business, software engineering, and Quality Engineering teams. Knowledge of JIRA, Trello, SharePoint and Microsoft Office tools.Validates that solutions achieve desired business result.Sets and manages stakeholder expectations.Experience with software application integration.CCM Product Technical certifications, especially in Quadient Inspire will be a plusRich experience in applying design patterns and in designing application that is resilient and scalable.Strong soft skills – leadership – communication – facilitation – working with many different stakeholders with conflicting requirements and needs. Proactive identification and management of risks.Flexible and adaptable to dynamic environment. Experience in running scrum teams and scrum ceremonies (CSM – Certified Scrum Master or SAFe - Scaled Agile Framework certifications desired).Experience in large scale, Program Management and Status Reporting.  Global experience a plus including managing onshore/offshore teams and variable staffing model.Understands insurance forms life cycle from product development to sunset a plus.
