As the Senior Project Manager, you will lead a cross-functional engineering team in the planning, coordinating, monitoring, and executing new product development medical device projects. In your role, you will ensure R&D projects are completed on time/cost & budget. You will support cutting-edge medical device products from the inception phase to launch for Stryker’s Surgical Technologies business unit within Stryker Instruments. You will need to be in the office 3 days a week and can work from home on other days. **What you will do** + Lead the team in developing the project charter and management plan. Direct, manage, monitor, and control projects. Develop a strong business case and evaluate tradeoffs within a project. + Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop, manage, and own project scope. Create a detailed Work Breakdown Structure. + Develop and manage the detailed project Gantt chart. Analyze critical paths, major workstreams, and intersecting milestones. Own the project schedule. + Collaborate with cross-functional managers to define project budgets. Monitor and maintain costs within budget. + Partner with the project team to create Quality Plans using 2-3 quality planning tools and techniques. Monitor and maintain plans. + Develop a project risk management plan. Identify, analyze, and understand project risks; develop and monitor a risk response plan. + Estimate, acquire, and assign cross-functional project resources. Define each team member's role, responsibility, and deliverables. + Provide direct feedback to the functional manager on performance reviews. + Develop a Stakeholder management plan for the project based on identifying, analyzing, and understanding Stakeholder expectations. **What you need** **Required Qualifications:** + Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or related discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management) + Minimum 6 years of work experience within engineering or manufacturing, with 2+ years of Project Management leadership experience **Preferred Qualifications:** + New Product Development experience or product launch experience + Utilization of Agile and rolling-wave or waterfall planning methodology + Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes for product design + Led or developed products for medical devices or regulated industries + Experience developing injection-molded products and/or single-use products + PMP or equivalent preferred Health benefits include: Medical and prescription drug insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, critical illness insurance, accident insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, personalized healthcare support, wellbeing program and tobacco cessation program.
