How will you make an impact

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Accounting & Controllership workstream for a legal entity carve-out. This is a fixed-term assignment dedicated to ensuring the financial separation, compliance, and system set ups to support the Project. The role requires strong accounting expertise, systems knowledge, and the ability to coordinate across multiple interested parties under tight timescales.

Key Responsibilities

Carve-Out Project Leadership

Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Financial carve-out plan.Develop and manage detailed project plans, separation checklists, and risk mitigation strategies for the Vantaa site finance workstream.Drive accountability across workstreams to meet project timelines.

Financial Reporting

 Lead the preparation of carve-out financial statements in compliance with US GAAP / local statutory requirements.Manage the allocation of shared costs and intercompany balances.Ensure integrity and audit readiness of carve-out financial information.Design and implement standalone entity accounting policies and internal controls.Ensure SOX compliance and partner with internal and external auditors on carve-out supportConsult on documentation of separation-related accounting judgments and assumptions.

Cross-Functional & Interested Party Management

Coordinate with GBS, Tax, Treasury, Legal, IT, HR, and other business functions to align carve-out activities.Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and mitigation actions to Group Controllership and Divisional Finance Leader.Support system migration or setup of financial platforms for the standalone entity.Ensure seamless transition of critical accounting processes (close, reporting, reconciliations).Lead knowledge transfer and training for new entity finance personnel.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent strongly preferred).8–12+ years of experience in accounting, controllership, or finance.Deep knowledge of financial reporting, systems in scope and internal controls.

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership with ability to implement under pressure and ambiguity.Excellent communication and interested party leadership skills.Analytical approach with high attention to detail in financial and compliance matters.Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on problem-solving.Established history of achieving outcomes within a set timeframe in a structured environment committed to goals.
