As a Senior Project Engineer (Automation/Control), you will…

Be responsible for managing and executing annual CAPEX projects and supporting automation/control improvements at our Kalasin Plant. You will ensure project safety, quality, and compliance while aligning designs with Ingredion’s global automation standards.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):

Create basic design packages: process modifications, energy balances, equipment selection

Collaborate with external and internal engineering teams for design and system specification

Define project scope to meet operational and business needs

Prepare cost estimates and project proposals for CAPEX approval

Manage projects across cost, time, quality, and safety targets

Oversee safe construction, controls programming, and commissioning activities

Stay current on trends in automation technology and implement improvements

What You Will Bring (Experience and Knowledge):

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (Automation / Control)

Experience in food, beverage, or chemical manufacturing, or engineering firms

Proven hands-on experience in CAPEX and project management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to lead multiple capital projects in plant environments

Fluent in English, both written and spoken
