The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking Senior Project Engineer to join the Air Vehicle Engineering team located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

A successful member of this team will understand and execute modifications and upgrades for the B-1 Bomber programs.

Position Responsibilities:

Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customersDevelops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirementsWorks with customers and management to obtain approvalResponds to changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedulesLeads project execution to complete the work statementIdentifies performance metrics. Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or programDefines plans for risk mitigation and opportunityCompares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learnedProvides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans.Works under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science5+ years’ experience in Earned Value Management5+ years’ experience multi-discipline engineering project management

Preferred Qualifications:

10+ or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceEarned Value Management (EVM) silver medallion or higherExperience working across a team representing multiple skill areas with internal and external resources and customers is preferredExperience with complex systems development and integration preferredExperience with leading project execution to complete the work statement is preferredExperience with implementation and maintenance of systems engineering tools, schedules and metrics (i.e. Earned value management, DOORs, CAMEO)Experience with Model Based EngineeringExperience with Agile/JIRATroubleshooting engineering skillsExperience as a CAM or CAM delegate

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range, Senior: $107,100 – 144,900
