Senior Project Enablement Manager - Strategic Initiatives

That’s what makes us Roche. **The Opportunity:** As a Project Manager for Strategic Initiatives, you will be part of the in-house project services team within the RSS Enterprise Capabilities group. You will report to the Chapter Lead Project Enablement and be responsible for driving the successful execution of cross-functional strategic initiatives, providing innovative healthcare solutions. **Key Responsibilities** **Strategic Advisory and Thought Partnership** + Serve as a trusted advisor and partner with project leads and functional stakeholders to co-develop strategies and deliver innovative solutions for high-priority business challenges. + Provide strategic guidance and actionable recommendations to support impactful decision-making. + Facilitate strategic workshops, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative discussions to unite cross-functional teams. + Build strong relationships to ensure project initiatives align with Roche's enterprise objectives. **Project Management and Delivery Excellence** + Oversee project and program management activities to ensure objectives are met, providing expert guidance, governance oversight, and execution strategy. + Design and oversee implementation roadmaps, engaging with PMOs, cross-functional teams, and external partners to align on objectives. + Drive key project activities and deliverables to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes. + Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks, opportunities, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle. + Monitor project health and progress through defined metrics, and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders. **Governance and Stakeholder Engagement** + Establish and deploy project frameworks, templates, and tools to enhance governance and effectiveness. + Facilitate alignment across diverse internal and external stakeholders through structured communication strategies and workshops. + Support key decisions through robust resource planning and risk mitigation strategies. **Qualifications & Attributes** + **Experience:** Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a related field, with 6–8 years of relevant experience in consulting, strategy, or project management. + **Project Expertise:** Proven expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, with a strong grasp of Lean concepts and project management fundamentals. Skilled in managing all phases of a project lifecycle, from developing business cases to assessing change impacts. + **Methodology & Frameworks:** Familiarity and proficiency with frameworks such as design thinking and liberating structures to promote innovation and problem-solving. + **Business Acumen:** Functional knowledge in at least one business area (e.g., Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D) and familiarity with Organizational Change Management practices. Experience in the pharma or consulting industries is a plus. + **Leadership:** A leader who can foster collaboration across multicultural teams, remaining adaptable and resilient in shifting environments. You can coach and lead teams effectively while representing the RSS EC team to diverse stakeholders.
