Senior Project Controls Specialist - Scheduler

If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you’re invited to apply for this role. **Job Description** Fluor is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler for the newly awarded State Highway 6 project. This person will sit at the project site in College Station, Tx. The ideal candidate will have strong P6 scheduling experience working on Infrastructure DOT projects; TxDOT preferred. With an increased global demand for major infrastructure improvements, Fluor continues to develop creative and innovative solutions to meet clients’ financial, construction, operational and maintenance objectives for airports, bridges, highways, rail, toll roads and transit systems. **Job Requirements** + Develop engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) schedules or cost control programs. + Provide scheduling analysis for delays and impacts (Time Impact Analysis) to identify and mitigate project risks and assist with change management procedures. + Develop Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work defined by the contract. + Recommend solutions or recovery plans to schedule or cost impact or delays. + Serve as lead Scheduler by analyzing schedules, reviewing delays, propose schedule recovery alternatives and presenting to internal groups and infrastructure project staff. + Assist in the management of internal controls, including implementing new process controls, measuring project performance, reporting on project status, and ensuring the integrity and validity of internally and externally disseminated information. **Additonal Job Requirements** + HS Diploma or equivalent. + Minimum 8 years of experience working on heavy civil infrastructure projects. + Capable of building schedules via the use of project documents (drawings, specs, contracts) + Expertise with Primavera (P6) scheduling. + Ability to proactively collaborate with different project teams and personnel to gather data and meet project goals. + Must be computer proficient and be able to adapt to new programs, innovations, and processes. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering. + Previous experience working on TxDOT infrastructure projects.
