Kforce's large client in California is looking for several Senior Project Controls Analysts in either Oakland, Rocklin, Sacramento or Fresno. We are looking for someone who has supported large load projects like manaufactuting faciliies or data centers in the past. Responsibilities: * Partner closely with a Project Manager (1:1 ratio) on these major projects * Coordinating with teams to keep projects on track * Lead the effort to develop the project schedule and forecasting by meeting, often in person, with the various departments * Work with PM to ensure the schedule logic and timelines meet the project objectives. * Attend all important project site meetings including kick-off, walkdowns, constructability reviews * Attend and actively participate in project status meetings * Ask questions in regards to project progress from meeting attendees and use that information to update the project schedule * Manage both the scheduling side and the finance/budgeting side of the projects; This role is weighed toward the planning/scheduling side * Assist with budget planning and cost forecasting * Track project expenses and financial performance * Prepare reports on budgets and spending * Identify and analyzing financial variances * Ensure accurate financial records and documentation
