Senior Program Manager-Design Quality- Products & Systems
The Senior Program Manager-Design Quality, Products & Systems is responsible for the Program strategy and execution to drive continuous quality improvements in the design of Medical Device products and systems to world-class levels, in close, cross-functional collaboration with our business units and functions. **Your role:** + Define the strategy/policy and execution program needed together with business units and functions to drive first-time-right quality in product design, and support them to reach or maintain a mature, self-propelling state, with a focus on (physical) products and systems. + Will focus on/drive quality in the development of new products/systems, processes, people competencies, data models, tools and quality improvements in our installed base. + Will utilize expert level experience/understanding in applying cutting edge quality-in-design tools, technologies, processes and techniques, with a specific focus on medical device-product/systems design to arrive at first time right, safe, and high-quality products. + Will partner with, lead and influence stakeholders at all levels, including business unit R&D leaders, product development leaders, Patient Safety & Quality teams, and Systems Engineering teams. **You're the right fit if:** + You’ve acquired a minimum of 12+ years’ experience withing FDA regulated medical device/systems product development environments (FDA QSR, 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and IEC 62304), with a focus on Driving Design Quality/Assurance excellence, systems engineering, regulatory strategy and proven Program leadership experience, leading cross-functional R&D teams, embedding design quality, and/or enabling compliance during innovation. + You have proven expertise in product Design Quality, leading others to raise the bar and understand how the quality and regulatory context can/needs to be leveraged to the benefit of product quality and safety. + You possess a strong understanding/belief that quality is an integral aspect of products/systems throughout the whole product life cycle, are familiar with (cross-functional) system engineering and agile product development methodologies, with an understanding of how design quality impacts time to market, cost, and customer outcomes. + You have proven expertise in all aspects of global, cross-functional program leadership, strategy, planning, execution and working in/influencing a complex field of stakeholders across business units/functions and have proven ability/expertise to oversee/understand the broader needs related to product safety and quality to drive the right approach for each business unit/function. + You have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality or comparable disciplines (Required). MS /PhD desired. (https://www.careers.philips.com/na/en/our-culture-philips-careers) **Philips Transparency Details:** + The pay range for this position in Nashville, TN is: $153,750 to $246,000 + The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA/Bothell, WA is: $172,200 to $275,520 + The pay range for this position in Plymouth, MN is: $161,438 to $258,300 The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
