Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager (LevelM) to lead the execution of the Small Diameter Bomb Program in St. Charles, Missouri.

The selected candidate will be working with the USAF Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) Program Office out of Hill AFB. The program manager will ensure resources are provided for program execution in both rate production and development areas of the Small Diameter Bomb program. Significant interaction is expected with both domestic and international Customer communities. This position will report to the Direct Attack Director and will be responsible for the customer relationship for Small Diameter Bomb, Laser Small Diameter Bomb and all existing and new Small Diameter Bomb derivatives.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages employees and mid-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program ManagementDevelops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectivesAcquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesManages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higherMore than 5 years of experience in program or project managementExperience working on proposals for new business

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Master's degree or higherExperience in weapons and missile systemsExperience working with international customersExperience executing Production contracts to meet delivery commitmentsExperience leading a development program for new programs or projects

Relocation:

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $180,200 - $243,800
