Your Opportunity

We are growing and are actively seeking a Senior Program Manager with extensive multidisciplinary environmental experience. 

Your Key Responsibilities

The Senior Program Manager, located in San Diego, senior industry representative for Stantec’s Environmental Services practice. Scope of responsibilities includes environmental restoration and remediation for Federal, Utility, and Commercial Clients.

Specific responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
50% of time spent on Business Development Activities, such as review of RFPs, preparation and submittal of proposals, strategic review of opportunities, and positioning for future opportunities.
Responsible for ensuring adherence to project delivery processes. 
Oversee and manage the development of project scope and budget and oversight of project technical requirements, deliverables, and client invoicing.
Uphold a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices, encourages individual integrity, and focuses on the customer and service delivery.
Develop project organization and staffing assignments.
Provide compliance with project plan and procedures.
Perform quality assurance function for work products before they are submitted to clients.

Your Capabilities and Credentials
The candidate will have demonstrated leadership, communication, and people skills. This should be demonstrated through previous experience in the management of large professional teams, preferably in an integrated design environment.
Extensive experience with working with public sector, city and county clients within federal/state/county/city regulatory jurisdictions with an emphasis on RCRA and CERCLA type projects.
Experience with California, Washington, Hawaii, Alaska
The candidate will maintain well-developed written communication skills in the preparation of technical reports, correspondence, and proposals.
Good driving record and valid driver’s license
Business development and proposal preparation. 
Some travel will be required.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Master’s degree Preferred
Minimum 20 years of engineering experience. 
Professional Engineer license required

Additional Information Salary Range(s): Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s): Location Description: Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CA (SF Area includes SF, SJS & WLC) Min Pay Range: CA Other Areas $190,300 Max Pay Range: CA Other Areas $294,900 Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
