The PBU Program Manager oversees the global project portfolio for assemblies and components within TE Medical. This role ensures successful delivery of programs by driving performance, aligning resources, and partnering with regional PMOs and business stakeholders. The manager is accountable for achieving portfolio goals in cost, scope, schedule, and quality.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead execution of the PBU project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
+ Partner with regional PMO teams to support project planning, risk management, and delivery.
+ Collaborate with product management and commercial teams to prioritize opportunities and drive growth.
+ Oversee a mix of project types (Advanced Tech, NPD, Sustaining).
+ Track portfolio KPIs and lead regular performance reviews with leadership.
+ Coordinate cross-PBU resources and resolve interdependencies.
+ Support budgeting, resource planning, and process improvements.
+ Promote PMO standards and tools across regions and teams.
**Your ideal background**
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
+ 8+ years of project/program management experience in medical devices or technology manufacturing.
+ PMP or formal project management training preferred.
**Key Skills**
+ Strong leadership and collaboration in global, matrixed environments.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
+ Business acumen and ability to summarize complex issues clearly.
+ Familiarity with FDA regulations a plus.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Project and collaboration tools.
+ Willingness to work across time zones and travel up to 10%.
