Senior Program Manager, TOM Product, Data and Program
Description Amazon's TOM Technology group is driving change in the Middle Mile. The Transportation Operations Management (TOM) team is looking for a Sr Program Manager with the location flexible between Bellevue (WA), Nashville (TN), Tempe (AZ), Atlanta (GA) or Arlington (VA). This role would be responsible for coordinating across the organization to successfully launch and integrate new technology innovations and operational processes to be used in TOM’s Transportation, Yard, and Gate operations. The TOM Product, Data and Program (PDP) team is implementing sensor driven technology solutions into TOM team’s operations. We are challenging the status-quo and looking for ways to improve and enhance the experience of Yard and Gate operations. As a Sr Program Manager, you will partner with stakeholders across the TOM Organization to drive and align changes in different processes, implement new standard operating procedures (SOPs), and create and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance and effectiveness of the new process. These large-scale projects will impact how we operate at hundreds of TOM managed Yards. Come join us building out these innovative solutions in the TOM network! Key job responsibilities - Dive deep into current processes to gather in-depth understanding of the process - Create and develop stories based on data-driven decisions on process changes - Drive alignment and adoption of new processes by working cross-functionally across different teams - Identify appropriate performance metrics for each program and ensure consistent measurement and accountability - Travel up to 10% as needed to analyze, implement and monitor best practices Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of program or project management experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership Preferred Qualifications - 2+ years of driving process improvements experience - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
