We're seeking an exceptional Senior Program Manager to lead our Healthcare Payments initiatives within our Global Payments Technology organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of healthcare payments while working at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and financial services.
As the Senior Program Manager for Healthcare Payments, you'll drive strategic initiatives that transform how healthcare payments are processed, managed, and optimized. You'll lead complex programs that enhance operational excellence, ensuring seamless integration between healthcare providers, insurance companies, and end users while maintaining compliance with healthcare-specific regulations.
You'll play a crucial role in transforming healthcare payments by:
• Leading initiatives that improve the healthcare payment experience for millions of customers
• Developing innovative solutions to complex healthcare payment challenges
• Building scalable systems that can handle growing healthcare payment volumes
• Creating efficient payment processes that reduce costs for healthcare providers and patients
Key job responsibilities
We’ll trust you to:
• Develop comprehensive metrics and analytics frameworks to measure program success and identify areas for improvement
• Drive operational excellence through process optimization and automation initiatives
• Architect and implement healthcare payment solutions that address the unique challenges in the space
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop and enhance healthcare payment processing systems
• Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, including providers, insurers, and technology partners
• Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations while maintaining payment security and efficiency.
An ideal candidate will have:
• Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities and ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in complex situations
• Deep analytical skills, data-driven decision making and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of healthcare payments regulatory framework.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Demonstrated expertise in healthcare technologies
- Knowledge of current healthcare payment trends, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Experience with healthcare payment systems and workflows

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
