The Amazon Delivery Choices Team is looking for a strategic and customer-obsessed Senior Program Manager to lead our delivery experience strategy through high-volume events (HVEs) and Peak seasons.
For millions of customers worldwide, the Delivery Experience team provides innovative ways to get what they want and need, enabling the choices they make on every order, every day. During checkout, customers see various delivery options that simplify their experience while balancing network capacity and operational efficiency.
You will be responsible for day-to-day program operations and scaling delivery choice capabilities during high-demand periods. This includes owning key program metrics and performance analysis, building and establishing playbooks for HVE readiness, partnering with product teams to establish strategic direction, and leading with robust communication to align leaders across the organization. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across multiple organizations including tech, operations, and business teams to develop and launch program improvements. Success in this role requires close management of cross-functional dependencies and the ability to drive operational excellence during our most critical business periods.
The ideal candidate has strong product strategy experience, is deeply analytical, and excels at balancing customer experience with operational constraints. You should be skilled in experimental design and data-driven decision-making, with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights. You are a clear communicator (both written and verbal), highly organized, and have a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Experience in managing products through high-scale events and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders is essential.

* Own day-to-day program operations and scaling of delivery choice capabilities during high-demand periods
* Build and maintain comprehensive playbooks for HVE readiness and peak season execution
* Lead program metrics and performance analysis, establishing clear reporting and monitoring frameworks
* Drive cross-functional alignment through robust communication with leadership and stakeholders
* Manage complex dependencies across tech, operations, and business teams to ensure successful program execution
* Create clear, compelling documentation for various audiences, including executive leadership
* Lead operational excellence initiatives during critical business periods through careful planning and execution
* Proactively identify and remove obstacles to achieve strategic, customer experience, financial, and operational goals
* Partner with product teams to provide operational insights that inform product strategy through HVEs
* Support the development of product improvements based on operational learnings and customer experience data
* Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and execute experiments that validate program improvements
* Contribute to roadmap planning by providing operational expertise and performance insights
