As a Senior Production Planner at MKS Malaysia, you will partner with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Shipping, Customer team to organize production plan based on material, demand and quality standards to make sure the goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Production Control
You Will Make an Impact By:
Taking responsibilities include inventory planning, scheduling, coordinating and/or final approval of products through the complete production cycleWorks from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading and capacity requirementsCoordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedulesProvides input to management, reschedules and/or interfaces with production and engineering managers to reschedule in case of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptionsMay also be responsible for coordinating New Product Introduction (NPI) and Customer Product (UPF) scheduling and coordinating of products through shipment, including MPR set-upTravel Requirements: Up to 10% of travel is required.Skills You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management/ Industrial Engineering or related field5+ years related experience in Material planning, coordinating and scheduling production operations requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in ERP/MRP systemsA background in labor capacity planning is preferred#LI-DNI
