Summary/Objective
The Senior Production Control Manager is responsible for the day-to-day
production scheduling, inventory planning and material shipments for the
facility. Responsibilities include
directing the performance management of the production control department while
evaluating processes to improve quality, service and manufacturing costs for
the operations.

Oversee the production scheduling process to achieve profit objectives with continuous improvement of production and on time delivery schedules to customers.
Determine job order priorities on bottleneck operations. Analyze variances to production schedules and identify capacity requirements for machines and assembly lines. Gather and load information into planning tools and provide regular updates.
Increase part and component availability by improving planning process and inventory accuracy. Understand engineering capacity and constraints.
Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
Assist in production risk assessment and mitigation activities.
Coordinate with the Inside Sales team on order status, proactively communicate early if there is a delay preventing on time delivery
Actively participate in the SIOP process
Create and present the 30-60-90 day plans and forecast on a monthly basis
Provide input to the annual budgeting process
Participate in the new product development phase gate process
Resolve production issues by identifying them early and holding all departments accountable for completing their work on time
Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed for a safe working environment.
Proficient with ERP Systems, Syteline experience a plus.
Proven ability to work with MRP, ensuring the planning team is responding appropriately to messages.
Experience with high volume, very high part number mix and multiple component assemblies.
Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.

Position type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a
full-time position. Hours of work may
vary dependent on operational needs. This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Commerce, CA location.
Travel
Travel is
primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and
overnight travel may be expected.
