The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Product Specialist to join the team in Renton, WA; North Charleston, SC; Ridley Park, PA; Seattle, WA; Tukwila, WA; Berkey, MO; or Hazelwood, MO.  

The Senior Product Specialist to lead our Microservices Strategy, Cloud Platform Products, and Data Marketplace initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for these critical areas, ensuring that our offerings meet customer needs and drive business value. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance our cloud capabilities and data services.

Position Responsibilities:

Defines and communicates the product vision and strategy for data products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and customer needs

Works closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, marketing, and sales, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product delivery

Leverages your expertise in AWS and GCP to guide product development, ensuring scalability, security, and performance of data solutions

Manages the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including defining product requirements, creating user stories, and overseeing development processes

Tracks project progress with technical teams, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are on schedule

Prepares and presents regular status reports to senior leadership, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and next steps

Identifies and communicates red flags or potential roadblocks, facilitating timely discussions with stakeholders to address issues and mitigate risks

Ensures that data products adhere to industry standards and regulations, implementing best practices for data governance and security

Establishes and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement

Engages with customers to gather feedback, understand their challenges, and identify opportunities for product enhancements

Creates comprehensive product documentation and training materials to support internal teams and customers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience with Product Management

5+ years of experience with microservices, cloud platforms, and data marketplaces

3+ years of experience with microservice architecture

3+ years of experience with cloud technologies including AWS & GCP

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with Data Management and Data Monetization

Experience with SAFe agile development methodologies and tools

Experience with communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $123,250 - $178,250
