Senior Product Software Engineer

Position Overview

The Senior Product Software Engineer is a key contributor to product development initiatives, responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership in Agile environments, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence in product engineering.

Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development & ArchitectureDesign and implement robust software solutions using C#, ASP.NET/.NET Core (preferably .NET 8+), and modern web frameworks like Angular or React JS.Develop and optimize SQL Server 2019/2022 and Azure SQL databases, including stored procedures and performance tuning.Integrate AI-enabled tools and services into product features where applicable.Ensure high availability, scalability, and security in application design.Technical LeadershipConduct code reviews and static analysis to uphold coding standards and quality.Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Collaborate with leads and architects to align with infrastructure, security, and performance goals.Contribute to necessary Architecture documentationDevOps & DeploymentWork with Azure DevOps and Visual Studio 2022+ for CI/CD pipelines.Troubleshoot deployment issues and support production release cycles.Contribute to release planning and environment setup.Agile CollaborationParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and UX teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.Technical Skills & QualificationsMust-HaveBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.6–9 years of experience in enterprise software development.Proficiency in:C#, ASP.NET/.NET CoreSQL Server 2019/2022, Azure SQLAngular or React JSHTML5, CSS, JSON and JS librariesAzure DevOps, Visual Studio 2022+Agile/Scrum methodologies, TDD, Unit TestingPrompt EngineeringExperience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS models.Understanding of and experience in Responsive Design.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Good to HavePowerShell scripting experience.Exposure to AI/ML integration in software products.Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience in performance tuning and deadlock resolution.Soft SkillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilities.Strong analytical thinking and decision-making.Ability to mentor and lead by example.Adaptability to fast-paced environments and evolving technologies.BenefitsCompetitive compensation and performance incentives.Health and wellness programs.Learning and development opportunities.Flexible work arrangements.
