Senior Product Quality Engineer

Job Description

Develop technical quality assurance protocols/methods to support product quality lifecycle of assigned products. Work with others on activities and items to ensure compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations. Perform analysis and identify trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions. Ensure that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed. Ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards such as ISO regulations. Analyze the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records.

You will report to the MANAGER, PRODUCT QUALITY - SIC, role is located in Katowice - Poland.

Your Responsibilities:

Customer Issue Management:

Understand product functionality and root cause analysis process. - Lead issue to resolution cycles and lead field action (includes turnaround time, cause, follow-up, share lessons learned). - Define and monitor corrective and preventive action (closed loop).

Risk and Compliance:

Ensure a risk mitigation plan is in place when material risks are identified.Perform regular Quality audits, prepare reports and corrective action requests and follow-up.

Analytics and Data Management:

Monitor dashboards and Indicators, and data validation.Identify opportunities to automate QA/QC processes using technology and data capabilities.Work with partners across Rockwell on product/service performance and issue resolution.

Product/Process Development:

Verify that customer requirements are embedded into product/solution design.Develop product quality plan and strategy, by following templates and guidelines. Includes inspection criteria, process validation and test, data collection and reporting strategy.Use Release Milestone Placemat to determine baseline quality during pre-release.Embed Quality verifications into process development stages by using templates and guidelines (includes assessing quality and volume capability).Support/conduct product and process validation (pilot), using templates and guidelines. - Participate in feedback assessment and corrective action activities (closed loop).

Testing:

Verify that risk-based elements are incorporated into test procedures and strategy.Verify test results have been evaluated.Support assessment activity and verify that the quality anomaly process is performed.Guide corrective and preventive actions, ensuring the team is learning from the issue and that the learning is considered in future design.

Safety and Security

Verify teams are building security practices following the secure development lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degreeProficient level of work experience (4-5 years)Quality Methodologies (DMAIC/DMADV, 5S), Applicable ISO Regulations, Agile Methodologies and Tools (e.g., SAFe/Agile Development),Lean Methodology and Tools (Lean Six Sigma), SAP, ALM (e.g., Jira, Qtest, Jama, and Confluence)
