Overview of the Job 
This role reports to the Director within the Governance and Innovation section of the Data & Analytics (D&A) Platform. The successful candidate will play a meaningful role in leading collaboration between the Architecture team and Product teams to streamline the implementation of innovative solutions. Additionally, this role encompasses the management of data authorization services and broader security initiatives.

Job Description 
We are seeking a proactive and organized Product Owner to lead the partnership between our architecture team and product teams passionate about innovation, while also being responsible for data authorization services and security initiatives. In this role, you will lead the innovation backlog, prioritize initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop an optimized delivery schedule for innovations. Your goal will be to ensure that innovative solutions are implemented swiftly and securely, maintaining high company standards. 

Role Responsibilities: 

Lead the collaboration between the Solutions Architecture team and product teams to identify and prioritize innovative initiatives within the backlog. 

Supervise the development and management of data authorization services, ensuring compliance with security standards and protocols. 

Develop and maintain a clear roadmap for innovation and security initiatives, aligning them with business goals and market opportunities. 

Manage the innovation backlog effectively, ensuring that priorities are clear and that resources are allocated appropriately. 

Work closely with cross-functional teams to build an optimized schedule for delivering innovations and security improvements to products as quickly and efficiently as possible. 

Act as a key liaison between technical and non-technical partners, ensuring effective communication and understanding of innovation and security goals and requirements. 

Ensure that all innovation and security efforts adhere to company standards and best practices, balancing speed of delivery with quality and compliance. 

Facilitate regular backlog grooming sessions and sprint planning meetings to ensure alignment on priorities and timelines. 

Supervise ansuperviseck the progress of innovation and security initiatives, adjusting schedules and resources as needed to meet delivery targets. 

Conduct regular reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement in the innovation and security processes and drive continuous improvement. 

Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and standard methodologies in innovation management and data security to advise strategy and execution. 

Leverage experience with Databricks and data warehousing to advise product development and improve data management capabilities. 

Job Qualifications

Education, Experience, Background: 

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field. 

5+ years proven experience in product ownership, project management, or a related role, with a focus on driving innovation and security initiatives. 

Required Skills: 

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of fostering collaboration across teams. 

Experience in backlog management, Agile methodologies, and the product development lifecycle. 

Familiarity with data security principles, data authorization frameworks, and compliance requirements. 

Ability to analyze data and synthesize insights to advise decision-making and prioritize initiatives. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Product Management certifications (e.g., PSPO 1, PSM 1) are a plus. 

Familiarity with solutions architecture principles and practices. 

Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. 

Knowledge of innovation frameworks and tools, as well as security best practices, is advantageous. 

Strong experience with Databricks and data warehousing concepts and practices.
