Senior Product Marketing Manager – B2C, Amazon Resale
Description Amazon is the “Everything Store” and as global customer demand for pre-owned product grows, we want buying a pre-owned product to be as seamless and exciting as buying a new one. Amazon Resale’s vision is to “Be the preferred destination for customers buying preowned products”. Through this program, we sell millions of quality open-box and pre-owned products each year from customer returned and warehouse damaged inventory. This business is posed for significant growth as we started offering Amazon’s grading capabilities to 3P sellers to help them resell preowned products. As the Sr. Marketing Manager, Amazon Resale, you will define the marketing strategy to help millions of customers discover Amazon Resale and the great deals we offer. You are an experienced marketing leader who can think strategically and execute flawlessly. You are an effective thought leader and strong communicator who can earn trust with stakeholders across multiple teams, create a long-term brand and performance marketing strategy, craft narratives to secure funding in the annual operating cycles and scale marketing efforts to enable Amazon Resale to be a multi-billion-dollar business. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment. This is a unique opportunity to build, develop, and drive a globally relevant, customer-centric marketing strategy, in a way that increases Amazon’s relevance and accessibility to a broader customer audience and encourages more sustainable shopping practices. Key job responsibilities * Create an end-to-end long term marketing strategy defining the right customer segments, brand marketing, performance marketing and resourcing required to achieve long term objectives. * Be the thought leader for the preowned space and educate senior leaders on the right priorities for investment. * Setup mechanisms to translate marketing strategy to annual operating plans. * Drive customer acquisition and engagement strategies across North American marketplaces * Own customer segmentation and targeting strategies to improve marketing effectiveness * Drive improvements in marketing ROI through data-driven optimization Own MBR, QBR and Operating Planning cycles to report out progress and impact About the team Amazon Resale Business and Product team sits within the Amazon Recommerce as part of WW Returns and Recommerce Organization. We are a high impact team with a dedicated tech team who partner with us on a daily basis. The aspiration for Amazon Resale is to be a multi billion dollar business within the next 3 years and this role would form a critical part of product leadership to get us there. Basic Qualifications - 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) - Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs - Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches Preferred Qualifications - Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting - Experience setting up a marketing function for a business Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
