Senior Product Marketing Manager, Security, Google Cloud
Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 9 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e., growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social). + 6 years of experience in product marketing working with security products. + Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Preferred qualifications: + Master's degree in Marketing, Business or a Technical field. + Experience in marketing security products used in cloud or SaaS environments. + Experience working collaboratively across multiple product management and marketing teams. + Experience launching and marketing technology solutions globally. + Excellent writing, communication, and structured thinking skills. Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Security, for Google Cloud you will take part in a complete marketing experience as you guide every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communication, you help shape the representation and perception of products and solutions, and help grow their customer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, product management, corporate communications, engineering, and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end. You’ll be responsible for driving the product marketing for a range of security capabilities that help organizations detect, investigate, and respond to threats fast. You have and will continue to build excellent technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and business acumen. You will generate high-impact ideas, clearly prioritize work, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive them to completion. Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
