Senior Product Manager Tech, Advertising Trust
Description Define and deliver the next generation of infrastructure for Advertising Trust. Our infrastructure supports inspection of billions of ads, requiring fast, world-wide, and efficient content understanding, labeling, machine learning, and LLM-based applications. The mission of the Advertising Trust team is to guide advertisers through the trust lifecycle of policy, moderation, and ad placement across Amazon advertising. We create advertiser trust and protect the shopper experience across billions of ads world-wide. Advertising Trust infrastructure is comprised of systems that offer a variety of moderation services such as machine learning, caching, labeling, automated decisioning, human decisioning, bulk submission handling, etc. However, the majority of our services today evolved over time, tightly coupled to specific ad products, making extensibility difficult. We are in the process of transforming our infrastructure to be asset-based, agnostic of any individual product logic, and configuration-based for rapid extensibility. Advertising Trust is seeking a Senior Product Manager Tech to re-imagine our infrastructure. The ideal candidate will drive product thinking with a strong understanding of infrastructure standards and industry-wide trends, but with the ability to identify the best direction for Amazon, our unique offerings, and our customers. Expert product leadership is required to navigate emerging advertising trends, such as infra to support rapid adoption of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). Our mission is to define the right moderation capabilities to protect shopper trust while helping advertisers succeed on Amazon. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience managing technical products or online services - Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning Preferred Qualifications - Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight - Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
